Announcement of the 2008 Fourth of July Parade in Boise; Committee Looks to Community for Involvement and Support

Boise, ID, May 8, 2008— The Boise 4th of July “We the People” Liberty Day Parade is scheduled for 6:30 PM on July 4th, 2008. The “We the People” committee is calling upon the community of Boise to step forward in a show of patriotism and reflect on the parade’s theme for this year: “Liberty and Justice for ALL!”

In an effort to maintain the community aspect of this year’s parade, the “We the People” Committee is looking to the entire Boise community to show their support by sending in $1 donations. Each Boise family who contributes their $1 is showing support for one of the longest-running community-wide celebrations in the Capital city. The “We the People” parade is truly “the people’s parade” and  encourages everyone in Boise to show their participation. The committee will accept donations of any size. Donations may be sent to: We the People, P.O. Box 532, Boise, ID, 83701 or on www.libertydayparade.com.

New and exciting developments with Boise’s 4th of July Parade will be announced in the near future.
