The July 4th Celebration Committee invites you to participate in our annual parade celebrating our Nation’s Independence Day.

The 2011 Parade will be held on Monday, July 4th at 11 am in downtown Boise.

Please return your entry form to:

“We the People” Liberty Day Parade
P.O. Box 532
Boise, ID 83701

Entry Fees are as follows:

  • $12.00 for walking group
  • $22.00 for single car entry
  • $32.00 for a 501-C3 float and multiple vehicle entries.
  • $52.00 for a commercial float and multiple vehicle entries.

The 4th of July Celebration Committee has decided to add a new element of “Preferred Placement” for entrants this year. For an extra $10 you can reserve a spot in the top 30 positions. *Please note that the top 30 positions are on a first come first serve basis. Reservations have to be made over the phone so, please contact us at 208-853-4439 as soon as you can to save your spot.  Your spot will be secured once your payment is received, otherwise it will be released for another entry to fill.

These fees help pay for the various expenses accrued in putting on the parade including the liability insurance we are required to carry. Payment for the fee may be made to the 501-c3 non-profit organization, “We the People July 4th Liberty Parade, Inc.”

Ways you can help:

  • Participate in our poll at right on the scheduled parade time.
  • Volunteer! Please call us at 208-853-4439 or 208-890-0086 if you or anyone you know is willing to volunteer during the parade.
  • Donate, or encourage your employer to sponsor the parade.
  • Please note the parade route. Enter the staging area at the corner of 11th and Bannock. Parade Entrants will be arranged in the Boise Corp. parking lot between Bannock and Jefferson.
  • Please also note that the Boise Police have told us that you CANNOT throw candy from any moving vehicle. You may have walkers in your group HAND it out.
  • If entering, carefully read the Parade and Float Rules that accompany the parade entry application. We’ve had too many entrants ignoring the rules in previous years, so to ensure the safety and enjoyment of the parade for everyone, we’ve been forced to stiffen the penalties for non-compliance.
