Dear Committee members, Thank you for the tremendous honor you bestowed on me to be a Marshall in the parade. As I greeted and thanked Gen. Doty at the sign in area, it struck me that I was being recognized and honored alongside of a man like him.
I sincerely appreciate that honor, and humbly submit that my gracious Lord Jesus is truly the One to be honored, as it is His grace and goodness that has made me the man that I am.
On behalf of my two grandsons who were thrilled to ride with me and myself, thank you again.
Sincerely,
Bill Roscoe

Mr. Lear, unfortunately it appears you have misunderstood the nature of this event. This is not a protest of taxes or anything else. Our goal is to celebrate Independence Day in a traditional July Fourth Parade (like the Macy's Christmas parade every Thanksgiving). Like most parade committees, we are a non-profit organization dependent on the community's donations and the entry fees to cover the parade's expenses.

Mr. Simpson, your entry sounds most welcome, but unfortunately the registration deadline of June 26th is past. If I hear differently, I'll let you know.

Ms. Draney: I am not personally sure of that myself, but I'll see about getting driving directions added to the site, thank you.

Hey guys,

My wife and I want to just walk in the parade as we did in the Tea Party Parade last April 15th. Are you requiring individuals like us to buy a Parade entry ticket just to march in it?

Thanks for your response.

Harry & Nancy Lear
Boise, Idaho

If I were you, I would encourge individuals to march with their signs for free, just like they did last April 15th. Those who want to enter floats or march as a group can pay an entry fee. Your objective, remember, is to get the largest possible number of marchers as you can since that's how you get lotsa news coverage. Thanks.

I am a walking clown (in reality I ride a very small bicycle). Is it too late to apply.

Look at the following website for a free demonstration of ME.

Thanks

There's a conflicting event being held at the usual time this year, so it was moved this year for that reason. You may be surprised, but the parade committee has received several complaints about the old time as well along these lines. The public may vote on their preferences on this issue in our sidebar poll.
